I never win anything! But I did today! See below! Thanks Page:

Thank you all so much for your sweet comments! I loved reading all of them and have a nice list going of all of your suggestions. :)

To make it fair, I used a third-party drawing service on Random.org. My mom was actually the first winner, so I drew again. :)

Congratulations to Erin! Erin, just leave me a comment with your email address and I'll email you about getting you your prize.

Thank you all again! And maybe there will be another giveaway in the future. :)

Good Advice

I received some really good advice tonight and I've decided that I'm not going to fight fire with fire. Since honesty is the best policy and we should treat others the way we want to be treated I'm not going to let any of this bother me. Business is business and that's way it will be handled. I was raised better than to be so smart mouthed and I know that I haven't done anything to create this huge drama! All is good and the truth will unfold itself.

True Friends

I'm so lucky I have friends who are willing to stick there neck out or put their job on the line to stay friends with me. Folks, those are true friends. To my friends who have stuck by me, thank you. Please know I appreciate it you more than you know and I am always here no matter what!

A Better Day

Ok, I feel so much better. I got that off my chest last night and now I know that I really have nothing to worry about. I don't fear anyone or anything but I do have respect for myself!

So where do I go from here? I've decided that I need focus on what's important: God, family, friends, work, and school. I'm seriously considering taking the summer off but I don't want to get behind. I'm so lucky to have the best people in my life right now that keep me grounded and remind me daily on the positive things in my life. We all need that from time to time. So the quote for today is for my friends: "Friendship is like peeing your pants. Everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth." Ponder that one!

Reading Makes My World Stand Still (Cheesey I know)

During the week of spring break I had a lot of free time on my hands. I picked up some reading. It's good for ya! Well I was at a friends house and happened to pick up her Twilight book. Now these books are not small by any means. I'd already seen the first 2 movies and was curious as to how the other 2 would play out. I took the book home on a Sunday and by Tuesday I'd bought it online and finished it by Friday! I was so into it I went out and bought the 4th book! I can't put them down! What is it about reading that takes our mind away from everything around us? It's like I leave this earth when I'm reading and nothing around me matters. I've never thought of it that way until now? I never was a big reader but when I do find something that interests me I guess I get carried away.

The Blind Side

I watched this movie tonight with Molly and Kevin and I honestly have to say it is one of the best movies I've ever seen! It really spoke to me today! It really doesn't matter what we've all been through, where we come from, or what we have. We are who we want to be and there is nothing that can stop us! A dream is never to big if its practical and sometimes what we think is best for us, isn't always best for someone else. I'm learning some tough lessons everyday. What am I going to do with the rest of my life? I know, I'm only 27 but I constantly think about how I don't want to be wondering if my job will always be there. Will drug testing still be around many years to come? Will I ever make enough to support me and my future family? I've learned I can't work somewhere that I miserable even though I loved the people I worked with. (It does matter who you work for) Can I find a career and not just a job? Maybe I can do something that will allow me to be as creative as I am as well as use my sense of humor and listening skills and of course the occasional amazing, life altering (year right) advice. I will always be in drug testing as long as it is around because I've developed a huge passion for awareness. Must more is in store for me and I know this isn't my last stop on the career train. God is so good to me!

Hello Blog, its Me, Erin!

Well, I've been away far too long! Had to take some time away and re-evaluate things. Life is so good right now. School sucks, but everything else is falling right into place. Single again and that's OK! I need this time to figure out whats important and not be distracted. Now don't think I don't have my eyes set on someone, but I keep looking forward! Work is great! Business is booming! I'm having a change in heart on my school choice and thinking I just need to get a degree and get the heck out! Nursing is just taking too long and my heart isn't as in it as I thought it would be. That doesn't mean I'm giving up. Just checking out other options. God has been so good to me recently. Actually, he's always been good to me. It's just taken me some time to realize it. Well my post is short and sweet but I wanted to give an update to those who stalk me: I'm happy! Happier than I've ever been! I've got great friends and family who keep me grounded and that's all I can ask for.

God is so Good!!

In the last few weeks my life has changed in so many ways! My job is amazing! Business has really picked up and we are truly blessed to have such amazing clients that appreciate the excellent customer service we provide. School has been pretty good for the most part. Anatomy and Physiology isn't as easy as it seemed at first but I'm learning so much! Adam and I are doing really good! It's been 3 months and I have to say we have so much fun together. It's really a blessing to be in a christian relationship for the first time and to learn from one another. He has 2 great kids and they come from great people so of course! The Lord has also brought me a new church home. I've recently (since December) started visiting New Life Church (www.newlifechurch.tv) and it's unlike any church I've been to before! I truly encourage those seeking a new church home to give it a try. I've also joined a women's small group and absolutely love it! It gives me the chance to speak to women my age (or around it)about everyday things and we can help strengthen our relationship with Christ as well as make long lasting friendships! Do I sound like a pamphlet yet!? LOL My heart is truly blessed and I am very excited to be living this life.

Oh School, Why do I hate the?

Well, week 1 of school is down and I have 51 or so more to go until the next year. I forgot how tiring it is. Not only do you have to study but you have to find a parking spot, walk a million miles away, and find a seat where you can see in class! Maybe by the fall I will be doing my rotations and won't have to worry so much about seats. I love my anatomy class. I've learned so much in the first week and really looking forward to the rest of the year. The nutrition class is really informative too! I've learned some things about food I didn't know before. I've been using Adam as my dummy this week in telling him stuff that he cares less to hear about such as the different parts of the body and nutritional value of food. HAHA! With me he's learning patience and I also introduced my long running Family Sunday. We invited the boys first to dinner since he didn't have them this weekend but they already had a family day planned. That's ok. Apparently they are used to Family Sundays. So we went to see his sister Leslie for a split second and went to church that morning and saw his parents. He really is an amazing guy and I've learned a lot from him. If we can't learn from each other then we aren't compromising and having patience. I've learned the key to a successful relationship: 1. A christian foundation, 2. communication and friendship, 3. compromise and patience. So far so good.
